About Wake Methods
For more than 25 years, professional wake sports and waterski coach Sim Davis has travelled the world, coaching thousands of students of all ages and skill levels. Throughout his career, he recognized a major gap within the industry: there were very few opportunities for coaches and aspiring coaches to receive structured, high-quality training and mentorship.
Driven by a passion for education and progression, Sim made it his mission not only to develop athletes, but also to help coaches, boat owners, and industry professionals navigate the often-steep learning curve of coaching, boat operations, equipment selection, safety, and customer service.
As the owner of Trick Switch, an internationally recognized wake sports school, Sim also identified opportunities for watersports businesses to improve their operations. From staff training and safety systems to administration, events, marketing, and revenue generation, many businesses were missing key elements that could unlock their full potential.
Wake Methods was created to bridge these gaps.
